Kansai Worldwide Airport terminal (Osaka) Closure - Flight Disruption Updates

Cathay Pacific’s flight service into and from Osaka continue to be prone to the closure of Kansai Worldwide Airport terminal (KIX). Because the re-opening duration of the airport terminal remains uncertain, Cathay Off-shore has cancelled all services back and forth from Osaka up to 13 September. We still carefully monitor developments. Shanghai to Tokyo flight

Cathay Off-shore Gm Airport terminal Service Delivery Patrick Yu stated: “We is going to be operating additional flights back and forth from Nagoya to satisfy the demand from your customers. We're also using bigger aircraft on flights back and forth from both Nagoya and Tokyo, japan Narita whenever you can to supply more choice and extra seats for purchasers.

“The safety in our passengers and crew is definitely our main concern so we sincerely appreciate our customers’ persistence and understanding at the moment.”Cathay Off-shore will waive rebooking, rerouting and refunding charges for those tickets issued worldwide (regardless of fare type) on or before 4 September for travel with Cathay Off-shore and Cathay Dragon confirmed bookings coming to and departing from Osaka (KIX) between 4 September and 30 September 2018.

Passengers are wise to determine the latest flight info on the airline’s website, before departing for that airport terminal. To make sure customers get the latest flight status updates via SMS or email, they are encouraged to update their contact information in Manage Booking at our website.
